Merry 1st Christmas, sweet baby Jade...

Well, unfortunately, it sounds like we will likely not be hearing an update or seeing new pics of our sweet girl before Christmas. I've been super emotional this week, barely made it through my wal-mart shopping trip this morning, but I'm determined to get into the Christmas spirit and enjoy this season with my baby that is at home, because he is SO SUPER EXCITED!!!! If by some unlikely chance a Christmas miracle takes place and we get an update between now and Friday, I will definitely blog about it (even though basically every second is booked for us with lots of fun family stuff, I WILL MAKE TIME!). Merry Christmas to all of you out there, wherever you may be! I pray that you all have loved ones near you to celebrate with.

I'll leave you with a final thought... Society has trained us to get so caught up in the buying and gifting of this season that sometimes it's so easy to forget what it's really about. It's not about what great gift we can get someone, it's about the AWESOME gift that God gave us when he sent His son as a sweet baby, to be born in a barn, so that He could grow up and give His life for our's. IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS!!!! Jesus was always giving to those less fortunate and reminding us to remember "the least of these...". So, please remember the meaning of this season, celebrate our Mighty Saviour's birth by blessing someone in need!

Jade, wherever you are out there in this big world, I hope that our heavenly father is allowing you to feel the love of your family from so far away. I pray that your foster family is showering you with affection just like we would be doing, and I pray you feel secure and happy on your first Christmas. We love you more than words can say, but one day you'll heart will feel it! Merry Christmas, sweet baby Jade... Love, Mommy, Daddy, & Jaxon

I feel confident that this is your last Christmas as a family of three. It is so hard, but praying a new hope and new progress will start with the new year! Love ya.
